What an amazing weekend. With forecasts of rain and thundershowers, Friday, Saturday and Sunday were perfect! Under sunny skies we camped at Preachers Point Campground near Abraham Lake. We enjoyed a really ncie hike to the 3rd falls at Siffleur. The trails were remarkably dry and not slippery at all. Wonderful hike. Sunday we made our way up the Tuff Puff trail. We encountered a bit of snow in the trees and at higher elevations, but not much snow at all. The trail was steep and a bit challenging, but the view of the valley and nearby snow covered peaks was astounding! We encountered a group of good natured big horn sheep up on the trail, where they were happy to let us photograph them. We did start to get some rain sunday night, but going to sleep listening to the rain fall on your tent is wonderful. We went for a big breakfast at the David Thompson restaurant, then went to find a short trail for a hike before going back home. Although we missed the trailhead! We headed back home after a fun weekend. Thanks to all who came out and made it a great weekend! See you again soon. Joanne
