Itinerary:
Since payments are to be made to Aquabatics, they'll pass on the confirmed participant info to Andrew and he'll add you to the event. Call them at 780.463.4892 and let them know that you want to attend the EOC Kayaking event on September 10.

Meet at Summerside Lake at 6:00pm to get orientated and set up with the gear.
We'll paddle around the lake for a couple hours and then return the equipment to the Aquabatics staff by 9:00pm at the latest.

Aquabatics Edmonton are providing a simple and fun way of getting on the water in the city this summer. Edmonton Outdoor Club members can attend this session where kayaks, PFDs and paddles are all provided on site for self directed kayaking on Summerside Lake.

Staff will give a quick orientation on the gear and basic techniques, and will then be available for safety and basic pointers. The session will be approx. 2.5 - 3 hours in length.

The cost is $15 plus GST per member and includes: Kayak, PFD and paddle use, all transported to the lake. Aquabatics would charge $35 if this wasn't an EOC event. Also includes entrance fee for the lake and an Aquabatics Edmonton staff member on site for the duration of the session and available for safety and basic skills advice.

Please note weather cancellation will only be if it's stormy (thunder/lightning) not just a light rain but the Summerside Lake staff will direct all people are off/out of the lake if they see lightning.

Once you've confirmed with Aquabatics they'll contact me and I'll add you to the event.
There is a strict minimum of 5 and maximum of 10 participants.
