Weekly Wednesday Hike- Terwillegar Foot Bridge Loop (5/15/2019)

Itinerary:
We will meet at the Terwillegar Park dog park parking lot. From here we'll head towards Riverbend nature trails along the top of the riverbank, and then head across the Fort Edmonton suspension bridge for a loop back to Terwillegar along mostly paved trails. We will cross back via the Terwillegar bridge below the Wolf Willow area.

The hike will be moderate in intensity. Length of hike will be approx. 9 km and should take us 2 hours to complete.

***Part of the hike is off leash designated. I am open to having dogs on the hike, however they must be leashed when necessary***


Meet in the parking lot at 6:50 PM for a prompt departure at 7:00 PM (or earlier if the gang's all there). Look for Mark wearing (or holding) a blue EOC ball cap, or look up his profile picture on the volunteer page.

Required Items to Bring:
- Water
- Sturdy footwear with good traction
- Clothes for the weather
Recommended Items to Bring:
Use our Event Checklists to make sure you have everything you need.
- Gaiters
- Hiking pole(s)

How to Get There:
Event Directions:- Take the Terwillegar exit off Whitemud and head south.
- Turn right at Rabbit Hill Road and keep going till the road turns to a gravel road and goes downhill.
- The parking lot is at the bottom of the hill.
