Itinerary:

THE PURPOSE: Deb is hosting her last co- coordinated event before she becomes a full fledged event coordinator. Come out to meet our newest volunteer Deb and make her hike a fun and exciting one. Also lets get some fresh air, socialize with great people and move that body.

THE PLAN: Meet in the parking lot at Fort Edmonton Park at 6:45 PM for a 7 PM departure. Meet at the eastern part of the parking lot, furthest away from the John Janzen Nature Centre, closer to the Quesnell bridge. We will head West on trails past Fort Edmonton, then cross the Fort Edmonton suspension footbridge to the north side of the river. We will then hike the trails towards Terwillegar Footbridge.

ABOUT OUR FURRY FRIENDS: Dogs are welcome on this hike, however they must be leashed because there is no off-leash area where we are going. If you are bringing your dog(s) please note this when you sign up for the event.

WHO IS DEB? At the meeting place Deb will have a bright royal blue Edmonton Outdoor Club baseball cap hanging on the antenna of her Jeep. If you want to know more about Deb ask lots of questions!

How to Get There:

Event Directions:

To get to Fort Edmonton Park take Whitemud Drive to Fox Drive.
Turn into Fort Edmonton Park Rd NW, and follow the road into the parking lot.
We will meet on the east side close to the River Loop trail head, near the Quesnell bridge.
