Bunchberry Meadows is a 640 acre conservation site that is owned by the Nature Conservancy of Canada in association with the Edmonton and Area Land Trust. Bunchberry Meadows was purchased from 5 families who had previously owned the land, and a network of hiking trails that are publicly accessible have been established on the site.

The Nature Conservancy is seeking volunteers for October 14th. Volunteers will help plant a variety of native species around the picnic site at Bunchberry Meadows, and volunteers will also plant willow live stakes at another spot at the property. A guest expert from the U of A will also be on hand to lend her expertise. The nature conservancy will provide tools for the day, as well as snacks and drinks. Volunteers must bring their own lunch.

EOC Carpool: We will meet at the West Edmonton Mall overflow parking lot at 9:15, and then travel from there to Bunchberry Meadows. If you do not wish to join in on the carpool, you can also meet up at Bunchberry Meadows at 10 AM.
