Itinerary:

**CARPOOL LOCATION CHANGE!**
Please Note: We will meet at the Mill Creek Ravine UPPER parking lot accessed via 95A Street, north of Whyte Avenue. It is accessed via the west side of the Mill Creek Bridge.

If you’re using Google Maps, look up Mill Creek Outdoor Pool. We will be parked in the first parking lot on your left as you come down the hill. If you arrive at the pool, you’ve gone too far so just come part way back up the hill.

To recognize me at the meeting place, I will be driving a silver Toyota Rav4 and wearing a royal blue EOC baseball cap or check out my profile on the volunteers page.

-----
Enjoy a moderate paced day hike in the Cooking Lake - Blackfoot Provincial Park. The 97 square kilometre Recreational area contains forests, pastures and wetlands in glacial moriane terrain. Check out the LINK for more info about Waskahegan Staging Area.

We will hike approximately 13km-15km, depending on the group and the weather. The terrain is mostly flat with some rolling hills. We will stop at the half way point (Meadow Shelter) for some lunch.

**Please note that we will be meeting up at the carpool location at MILL CREEK RAVINE UPPER PARKING LOT at 10:00am and leaving there at 10:15am SHARP! My plan is to arrive at the Waskahegan Staging Area around 11:00am.**

Also please note that the duration mentioned above includes the travel time to get there as well. **If you have somewhere to be by mid afternoon, please do not sign up for this event as we might be later than expected.**
