Event hosted by Edmonton Bicycle Commuters Society (EBC)
in partnership with Edmonton Symphony Orchestra
(ESO).
What to expect:Bike to the Symphony is a fun, short, group ride to a performance of the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra (ESO) at the beautiful Winspear Centre in downtown Edmonton. EBC partners with the ESO to present this event. The ride itself is free and open to all; the ESO offers EBC members a special discounted ticket price for the performance and post-concert drinks with Chief Conductor Alex Prior. There is no dress code (neither for the ride nor for the performance), and the event is welcoming and casual, but many participants enjoy dressing up for the ride. Whether you’re a seasoned symphony-goer, or you can’t tell a violin from a viola, this friendly event is enjoyable and accessible for everyone. Previous conductor Bill Eddins, Community Ambassador Lucas Waldin, and other members of the ESO have all participated in previous Bike to the Symphony rides. Secure, monitored bike parking, and a bag-check (mandatory, but complimentary) is provided free-of- charge. Dedicated security personnel monitor the bike parking for the duration of the event.
