Itinerary:
Note: This event is for experienced skiers and snowboarders only! Everyone is responsible for making their own arrangements for accommodations. Please also review the required items list for the expenses associated with this event. I will be departing Edmonton on Thursday evening and returning to Edmonton on Saturday March 31st. I am not organizing a formal carpool for this event, but can potentially take passengers in my car.

Say farewell to winter with one last day of skiing and snowboarding at Sunshine Village in Banff National Park.

Skiing/snowboarding:
  • Typically the cost for a one day lift ticket is: $109 + GST.

  • Accomodations:We will be staying on the night of Thursday March 29th, as well as the night following (March 30th) at the HI Lake Louise Hostel .

  • Appropriate clothing for the conditions

  • Cash/Credit for lift tickets

    Carpool Cost: The event coordinator(s) will help you to arrange a centralized carpool if you require it, but it's not guaranteed. Please DO NOT pay your driver en route. Passengers will pay the coordinator, and he/she will distribute the money to the carpool drivers. SO PLEASE BRING CASH!!! Approximate vehicle expense for this event is $131.95 (calculated at total Km * $0.29, effective Thursday, November 21, 2024). This is based on $0.09/Km for maintenance, plus current gas price divided by 9. This cost will be multiplied by the number of carpooled cars, and divided by the number of carpool participants.
