Welcome to the 24th annual World Partnership Walk. Over $40 million raised to date in the fight against global poverty. The Walk is an annual event to help raise awareness about and funds for global development efforts in Asia and Africa.

I am putting together a team, Global Guardians, for this year's Walk and have saved a few spots for EOC members who want to do their part for global development efforts.

When you complete your registration, be sure to select Global Guardians as your team. Your registration for this event is not completed until you complete your registration at www.worldpartnershipwalk.com and select Global Guardians from the list of Community Teams in Edmonton.

Event Directions:

To make things easy, we'll meet at the bottom of the main outside stairs that lead to the Alberta Legislature Building.

The Alberta Legislature Grounds are accessible by public transportation and there are bicycle racks. Impark lots and meters are also available.

Notes:

There is no registration fee to join this Walk but participants are encouraged to raise funds. I am hoping all team members will at least sponsor themselves for whatever amount they can afford even if they choose not to fundraise.
