Here is some info about the Edmonton Short Film Festival:

Expect to be entertained by a variety of projects … our adjudication team has reviewed thousands of minutes of film and narrowed these down to 90 minutes of laughter, screams, tears and amazement for you to enjoy. You may see everything from a 30-second trailer to a 15- minute short film. We screen comedies, horrors, dramas, documentaries, web episodes, trailers, animation and experimental films and videos … we encourage filmmakers to dig out their previously screened and award-winning projects that they may want to show again.

What else is there for you besides watching some great short films? This is a red carpet, Hollywood-inspired event! Make sure to get your photo taken in front of the Festival banner … then follow our Facebook page to tag and download your photo. Included in your ticket price is free pre-movie popcorn, hors d’oeuvres over the intermission and live music. A cash bar is also available before the screening and during the intermission.

The ticket cost is $17.50 (in advance until September 19); $20 at the door. To purchase your ticket prior to the event, click HERE. (I would highly recommend purchasing in advance to guarantee that they won't sell out.)
