Itinerary:
We will be heading to Fernie for adventure!

Day 1: Friday afternoon we will drive to Fernie and be spending three nights at the Timberline Lodges.

Day 2: The beginners will be participating in the 3-hr * Discover Mountain Biking Clinic. The more advanced riders may want to get a mountain bike lift ticket and try out some of the trails without the help of a bike coach. After mountain biking you will have a chance to go swimming in the outdoor pool, spend time in the hot tub and/or go for a massage.

Day 3: We will amaze and challenge ourselves at the * Aerial Park. This is an exhilarating ropes course, that starts off easy and progressively gets more challenging and higher up in the trees! There are bridge walks, tire bridges, rope walls, moving planks and ziplines on this course. After the aerial park you will have a chance to go swimming in the outdoor pool, spend time in the hot tub and/or go for a massage.

Day 4: We will end our time in Fernie by hiking the Old Growth Trail to the Island Lake Lodge where we will stop for lunch. The Old Growth Trail is an easy 2km hike that will take us through a forest of ancient Western Red Cedar trees. After lunch we will head back to Edmonton.

All activities are optional. Include in the notes whether you are interested in the Discover Mountain Biking Clinic on Saturday and we will make arrangements for payment at a later date.

The cost of the trip only covers accommodation. Payment for the Aerial Park is separate and the amount for that can be found on the Aerial Park event posting.

Accommodation:We will not be giving refunds if you have to cancel unless we can find a replacement. If you have to cancel and we can find a replacement, you will receive a full refund.

***TO REGISTER FOR THIS EVENT, please submit a payment to the EOC ASAP. We will add people to the event in the order that they pay for their spot. If there are people that have not paid for the event on the list and there are people on the waitlist that have they will take priority.

There will be a pre-trip meeting to discuss carpool arrangements and additional optional activites in Fernie.
