Mountain Equipment Co-op is hosting an info session on MEC Edmonton Expert Seminar - Top Treks Around the World: presented by Jane's Worldwide Travel & Exodus. Here is the info from their website: MEC Edmonton is thrilled to welcome the experts from Exodus and Jane’s Worldwide travel to learn all about hiking and trekking around the world! Hiking is the best way to get under the skin of a country and get off the beaten path (literally). Whatever your interest and ability, from hardened mountain enthusiast who wants extended high-altitude trekking, to occasional walker who prefers alpine footpaths, valleys and villages, there is a trekking trip for you. Our experts will inspire you to get out and see the world on two feet. And you’ll have a chance to win a $100 MEC gift card, to help get the right gear for your adventure. Join us in our community room here in the store for this exciting presentation that will be sure to inspire your next world-class adventure! ------ To find me, I'll have a multi- coloured bag, wearing a pink EOC top, and wearing my yellow EOC baseball cap (when the talk starts, the cap will be attached to my bag on the back of my chair). **The talk starts at 7:00PM but I would like us to meet up at 6:45PM so I can register all of you and try to get seats altogether.** If you’re late, I’ll put some EOC business cards on some seats up front to the left to reserve them for you. If you sit elsewhere, please make sure you find me at the end of the presentation so I know you were in attendance, otherwise you will receive an automatic “No Show” – see our Cancellation Policy for further info. Also please note that I have registered 9 of us for this event already via their event posting so no need for further registration after you sign up for this EOC event. | |||||
