Itinerary:
For carpooling, we will meet close to the South East corner of the parking lot for the Bonnie Doon Mall (82 Ave / 83 St).
Note that as Monday May 20th is a holiday, ETS buses are operating a Sunday service.
We will meet at 9:30am for a 9:45 departure.

If you are meeting at the trailhead, we should be there by 10:45am.
The hike will begin at the Waskehegan Trailhead, located on the west side of the park.
To get there from Edmonton, head east on Wye Road through Sherwood Park, this becomes Hwy 630 and by the hamlet of North Cooking Lake you will be signed to head north to the Waskehegan Trailhead.

We will hike approximately 15 km depending on the group and the paths we choose. The terrain is gently rolling hills for the most part.
There will be a lunch stop at one of the shelters (probably Meadow Shelter) for lunch, and please bring enough water because there is no potable water in the park.
We will maintain a good pace on the hike (approx 5 km/hr), but we will have also have short breaks for enjoying the scenery!
