If you are a beginner skiier or have never tried x-country skiing this event will be designed for you.

We will review basic 'classic' techniques and ski on the easy trails at Gold Bar Park. We will meet in the amenitiy building at 1:45 p.m. to review our agenda.

My temperature cut off is -20C with wind chill.

Required Items to Bring:
dress for the weather
x-country skis, boots and poles
waxes (for non waxless skis)
you can rent skis at either Totem or MEC
water

Gold Bar Park is on the south side of the river. Head north on 50th street, turn right after 109A avenue and follow the road to the parking lot.
