Itinerary:

We will meet at the gravel parking lot just east of the Royal Glenora Club (between the club buildings and the High Level Bridge, on the north side of River Valley Road) at 6:00 p.m. departing at 6:10p.m.

We will head west along the river into the Mackinnon Ravine, following the ravine to Summit Drive by 142 St. After a short residential section, we will re-enter the River Valley and head to the Hawlerak footbridge where we will enter Hawerelak Park. We will circle the park making our way to Emily Murphy Park and onward to the LRT bridge where we will cross the river and return to our start point.

The walk will be moderately paced with a couple of inclines, both up and down. There may be some wet areas and perhaps some slippery sections to be aware of.

Bring a headlamp or flashlight as it will be dark! I will be by a Black Chev Optra and will have my yellow EOC hat to help identify the group!
