Feature Presentation: Cairo to Capeteown by Bicycle. Four months on a bicycle between Cairo, Egypt and Cape Town South Africa is not your typical African safari. En route with the Tour d'Afrique, the world's longest bicycle race and expedition, 50 racers and expedition riders experienced the boundless Nubian desert of Sudan, the great majesty of Victoria Falls, and finally the cold rush of the Atlantic Ocean. Where Are You Go captures the 7000-mile expedition as a constant adventure full of playfulness and mysterious beauty. It is a testament to the endurance of human curiosity.
Plus: Barb's Bike Shorts: a made-in-Edmonton selection: This compilation includes Muffaloose 2000, which details a frosty northern Alberta bicycle trek gone awry, plus music videos that depict the history of Bikeology. With one thing or another, we'll get you in the mood for the big Bikeology Festival Day – and all the car-free fun of Park(Ed) – on June 18. Meet near the box office (look for the yellow EOC volunteer cap) between 6:40 and 6:45. | |||||||
