Itinerary:

We will meet in the parking lot at Emily Murphy Park at 6:00 PM, near the Groat Road bridge. for registration and leaving at 6:10 PM. for the hike.
We will head north across the Groat road bridge, and through Government House park. We will stop at 1 large set of stairs for 10 minutes of stairs, as many or as little as you want to do. We will head west up through the park, under the 142 ave bridge, and down the hill into the valley. We will run back up the hill and back down again and continue across to the footbridge, where we will cross into Hawrelak Park then follow the trail back to Emily Murphy Parking Lot.
Be sure to bring water to keep hydrated during the hike.

Event Directions:

To get to Emily Murphy Park take Whitemud to Gateway Blvd NW/ Calgary Trail NW north
Take a left on 82 Ave/ Whyte Ave
Turn right on 110 St NW
Take a left on Saskatchewan Drive NW
Keep to the right and take Emily Murphy Park Rd NW
Turn right into Emily Murphy Park
Once in the park turn left at the T intersection and meet in parking lot near the Groat Road Bridge.
Dave will be in a blue Honda civic at the west end of the park nearest the Groat Road Bridge.
