Itinerary:

Wander through the beautifully lit grounds of the Alberta Legislature and strap on your skates at the skating rink on the South Grounds! If you're quiet you may even see the quail and rabbits that live on the Legislature grounds.

Its Christmas time and time to enjoy the holiday spirit. The Alberta Legislature grounds are beautifully decorated for the season. Lets wander through a winter wonderland of festive lights and enjoy free skating on the south grounds, weather permitting. (if you want to skate, or just come to enjoy the walk through the lights)

Meet near the front steps on the north side of the main building. We will walk around and enjoy the Christmas lights and decorations and then go for a skate on the rink. I have not looked at the rink yet, but the lady at the city I talked to said it will be in great shape.

When we get cold or tired we will head for a hot chocolate and snacks at a local cafe.
