Itinerary:
*Mainly sheltered hike in a forest and gullies.
We will hike the nature trails at Kingswood Park and Riverlot 56. Most of the trails are fairly flat, and there are a couple of small hills in the Riverlot 56 trail system. We will do approximately 7 km of trails.

We will meet at the Kingswood Shelter at the Kingswood Day Area. The building there has washrooms. Very civilized.

Departing from the Kingswood Shelter, we will see Riverlot 56 across Poundermaker Road. We'll have walk across Poundmaker Road and get into the main Riverlot 56 trails. We will explore and enjoy the main Riverlot 56 trails, and then return across Poundmaker Road. Continuing along the Kingswood trail, after just a short distance (down a hill), we will explore more Riverlot 56 trails on the Kingswood Park side of the road. There is a pleasant wooded loop trail through here.

Please take note of the required items and come prepared for the weather and dirt trail conditions.

Dogs are welcome on this hike, however they must be leashed because there is no off-leash area where we are going. If you are bringing your dog(s) please note this when you sign up for the event.
