Itinerary:

We will travel a new route to the Larch Sanctuary/ McTaggart Nature reserve. Be prepared for wilderness travel. Bring your backpack and fill it up for this excellent backpack conditioning event if you wish. This event will have a brisk pace at 5 km/hour or more with single track trail, and lots of hills.

We'll meet at 6:50 PM at the parking lot of the Whitemud Creek Community League for a departure at 6:55 PM sharp.

The hike should be 2 hours approximately.

You could encounter mud, slippery conditions, this time of year, etc. - dress accordingly. Please don't wear sneakers on this hike. Be sure to bring water to keep hydrated and energized during the hike. It's recommended to bring poles for the down hill climb.
