Itinerary:
Meet at the Victoria Park parking lot on the north side of River Valley Road at 11:20 AM for a prompt departure at 11:30 PM (this is the main parking lot where the Winter skating oval is).

Route:
  • East along River Road
  • Cross the LRT Bridge, north to south
  • Cross the Walterdale Bridge, south to north
  • Push up the stairs at the Low Level Bridge and cross the bridge, north to south
  • Go up new trail and bridge behind the Muttart pyramids
  • Pass across Strathearn Community
  • Cross the Dawson Bridge, south to north
  • Cross the new Tawatinaw Bridge, north to south
  • Proceed past the Muttart Conservatory and a short distance up the Mill Creek Ravine, take the first off-shoot trail up into the neighborhood.
  • Climb the neighborhood streets to the top where Scona Road meets Saskatchewan Drive
  • Take the paths along Saskatchewan Drive and cross the High Level Bridge, south to north
  • Ride down the switchback hill from Ezio Farone Park to the trails above the Victoria Golf Club.
  • Return to Victoria Park via River Valley Road.
Approximate distance: 22 km.

**Join us for fire and hotdog roast afterwards (see other event posted for 1:45 PM, no need to sign up for both events if you are signed up on this event)


Required Items to Bring:

- Bike (hybrid or mountain is probably better in case there's any gravel sections on the route)
- Helmet

How to Get There:
Event Directions:Meet at the main Victoria Park parking lot (north side of River Valley Road where Winter Skating oval is). Look near the Victoria Park sign for the coordinator wearing (or holding) a blue EOC ball cap.
