In the summer, the University of Alberta Botanic Garden is a field collection of some of the most beautiful plants you'll ever see. It even has an elaborate Japanese Garden, among other specialized displays. In the winter for just over a month, the UofA Botanic Garden puts on a winter event called Luminaria. TO ATTEND, YOU MUST PRE- PURCHASE YOUR TICKET! Please click HERE and select the 1-1:30pm timeslot . To find me at the gardens, I will be waiting at the garden entrance at 1pm wearing / carrying my royal blue EOC baseball cap. At 1:10pm we will head on in to explore the gardens until ~3pm (you're welcome to stay longer).
