**Please note:
- This will be a moderately paced walk of ~5km/hr.
- This event will be weather dependent, please check the EOC calendar and your email for any updates.
- To find me, I’ll be stood next to a blue Hyundai Kona.
About this walk: ~10-12km
There are trails winding through the entire park
on the southside of the North Saskatchewan River.
Some trails in the park are wide and well trodden,
others are more narrow and uneven plus there are
lots of hills but well worth it to reach some of
the viewpoints overlooking the river. We will
head towards Anthony Henday Drive overpass (we
might go all the way there, we'll see) then turn
back to the parking lot.

**RE: COVID-19 PROTOCOLS: We will
practice being socially distanced (6 feet
/ 2 meters apart) while participating on this
event and step off the trail / path briefly to
let others pass safely.
1. Create social space.
• Avoid skin-to-skin contact such as hugs,
handshakes, or high-fives - just share a friendly
wave and 'hello'.
• Blow your nose, cough, sneeze, or clear your
airway at least 2m away from others.
• Wear a mask in public places to help limit the
risk of spread to others if you will be within 2m
of people.
**The government has indicated that masks may
help. Therefore, we are leaving it to the
discretion of participants to choose whether
you'd like to wear masks.
If you have a cough or flu-like symptoms, stay
home and consider getting yourself tested by
calling 8-1-1. The Alberta government states if
you have symptoms including fever, cough,
shortness of breath, difficulty breathing, sore
throat, or runny nose, you MUST self-isolate for
10 days after the onset of symptoms and until
your symptoms have resolved (whichever is
longer).

- Turn right at Rabbit Hill Road and keep going till the road turns to a gravel road and goes downhill.
- The parking lot is at the bottom of the hill.
