This event is part of "The Great Canadian Hike"
which will be the longest coordinated,
collective hike in Canadian history on The Great
Trail of Canada. This trail spans 13 provinces
and territories and passes through our very own
River Valley. Post photos from this even on
social media with the hashtag #greatcanadianhike
and tag @TheGreatTrail on your Instagram or
Facebook posts for a chance to win great prizes.

We will meet in the parking lot at Fort
Edmonton Park at 3:00 PM for registration and
departure at 3:05 PM. From Fort Edmonton we will
walk across the Quesnell Bridge and along the
river into Buena Vista and Hawrelak Park. Then
head back to Fort Edmonton on the other side of
the river. The event should be about one and a
half to two hours long.
Participants are encouraged to abide by physical distancing requirements (2m) and not to share water or food. Please do not come if you are experiencing symptoms of Covid19 or if you have been in contact with someone who is exhibiting symptoms.

Event Directions: | To get to Fort Edmonton Park take Whitemud to
Fox Drive. Take a left turn on Fort Edmonton Park Rd NW and follow the road into the parking lot. We will meet on the East side close to the Quesnell bridge. Look for Deb with the silver jeep. View Larger Map | ||||||
