Itinerary: | |||||||
Enjoy a moderate paced day hike of the Blackfoot Lake area of Cooking Lake-Blackfoot Provincial Park. The 97 square kilometre Recreational area contains forests, pastures and wetlands in glacial moriane terrain. We will hike approximately 10km-15km, depending on the group and the weather. The terrain is mostly flat with some rolling hills. We will stop at the half way point for some lunch. (The duration mentioned above includes the travel time to get there as well.) Check out the Trail Map for more info. Check my picture in the Volunteers section and I will be drive a burgandy Toyota Rav 4. After if people want we could stop off at the Boston Pizza for some beverages and a bite to eat in Sherwood Park (967 Ordze Road) - directions will follow later. | |||||||

Passengers will pay the coordinator, and he/she will distribute the money to the carpool drivers. SO PLEASE BRING CASH!!! Approximate vehicle expense for this event is $20.88 (calculated at total Km * $0.29, effective Thursday, November 21, 2024).
