Itinerary:
Well, you'll need to take an extra day off work but it will be worth it!!

We will board the van at 8:00 am on Saturday and will be whisked away to Penticton, where we will stay at the local hostel HI Penticton for 3 nights. We will make ourselves some dinner in the hostel kitchen and wander around Penticton, getting ready for the next day.

On Sunday, we will hop in the van at noon and nibble on our lunches on the way to the wineries. We will head to the north end of the Naramata Bench and work our way back to Penticton, hitting select wineries along the way. We will make a pit stop at a grocery store upon our return to Penticton, so that we can make ourselves some dinner that evening.

On Monday, you may take in Penticton in the morning or go on a short hike. We will head out in the van at noon again. Lunch will be eaten in the van once again or at one of the wineries. This time we will head south of Penticton. Monday night, we make a group dinner, possibly even involving a turkey.

Tuesday, we will load into the bus at 8 am and head back home, with boxes of wine in the back. Bring something to mark your wine as your own!

Required Items to Bring:
Your ID (very important!)
Breakfast for 3 days - Sunday, Monday and Tuesday (eat breakfast before you arrive Saturday)
Bag lunch for 4 days - Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday (we will stop at rest stops on Saturday and Tuesday, and will eat on the bus on Sunday/Monday)
Appropriate clothing for the weather: temperatures range from 15-21° in the Okanagan at this time, but it cools down at night.
Money to buy dinner food to cook at the hostel on Saturday and Sunday night, unless you want to eat out
Labels for your wine bottles
Recommended Items to Bring:
Use our Event Checklists to make sure you have everything you need.
Hostel usuals: flip flops, shampoo, soap, towel, ear plugs, lock for room locker etc.
Bus pillow for snoozing
Movies (DVDs) for the drive out and back
Camera (bwa ha ha haaaa!)
No sleeping bags are allowed as bedding is provided, but you may bring your own pillow
Money for possible wine purchases - always best to buy at the wineries as they run out quickly

Notes:
If you would like to room with a particular person, please say so in the notes when you sign up.

- Registration is NOT COMPLETE until you've signed up and paid by the registration cut off date. The money must be in the EOC's possession by that date. No exceptions.
- When a minimum group size appears, this is to let you know that the event will be cancelled with refunds to those who have already paid, if the minimum number of registered participants is not met. For any events where EOC needs a minimum number of participants, there will be absolutely no refunds of money if you cancel.
- We encourage all members to follow our Etiquette Guidelines at all times while participating in EOC events.

Member Cost:$315.00/Person
Non-Member Cost:$330.00/Person
Cost Includes:Van to and from Penticton, transportation to all wineries, hostel accommodation in dorm style rooms. If you are a member couple and want to share a private room, the cost is $340 each. There is no option for a non-member couple.
