Itinerary:

We will start out at 7:00 PM sharp. Meet at Victoria Park skating oval parking lot 12130 12222-12254 River Valley Rd. From Victoria Park will we go up to Victoria Park Road area, and then down across the river at Groat Road. We will then hike through Emily Murphy & Kinsmen Parks. We will then cross the Walterdale Bridge & head back towards the Victoria Park parking lot. We should have a good view of the Christmas lights downtown and in the River Valley.

We'll be meeting in the gravel parking lot at Victoria Park skating oval parking lot 12222- 12254 River Valley Rd. I will have a blue EOC cap hanging on the antenna of my car, so you can recognise me.

Difficulty: the walk will be at a "moderate- brisk" pace (approx 5km/h)
This urban hike will be about 9 km.

Dogs are welcome on this hike, however they must be leashed because there is no off-leash area where we are going. If you are bringing your dog(s) please note this when you sign up for the event.

Required Items to Bring:
- Weather appropriate clothing
- Comfortable, supportive hiking footwear with good traction
- Ice cleats
