We will backpack into a main base area and climb to the top of a mountain or two on low risk terrain. Terrain in Grande Cache is advanced and requires good fitness level. The death race is held here every year. Comparable to terrain found on the North Coast Trail in some areas. Expect muddy conditions in lower regions and snow up in the higher areas.
