We will start the hike in Hermitage Park. Please arrive at
7:45 AM for a prompt 8:00 AM departure. Cars will be
left at the end of the trail to return hikers to their cars at
Hermitage Park. This walk will be at a brisk/fast
pace for an extended distance. We will travel near the following locations to get to the cars parked on Howatt Dr SW.
I plan on stopping around the 23 KM point to have lunch for about 15-20 minutes. This will be at Hawrelak Park where we can also utilize the facilities. Difficulty: the walk will be at a "higher brisk" pace (approx 4.5 km/h) for approx. 42 KM. We will also be going up the stairs at Fox Drive. Dogs are very welcome on this hike - if you are bringing your dog(s) please note this when you sign up for the event. Please keep your dogs on leash at all times on this hike as the paths will be busy with other people hiking and biking. | |||||||

How to Get There: | |||||||
Event Directions: | From Yellowhead Trail drive north on Victoria Trail. Turn
right at Hermitage Rd and continue into the park. Stay
right at the "T" and you will enter the circular south
parking lot. (Meet near Picnic Site #1)
