Please come volunteer your time for the evacuees of the Fort McMurray wildfire at the Kingsway Emergency Relief centre at the old Target store - on the west side of the mall.

My work group went there this morning from 9am-noon in the kids' clothing section and they are definitely a busy place and all hands on board. From unpacking boxes, hanging clothing up, keeping the clothing organized by sizes, etc.

The evacuees also have their own shoppers (volunteers) assisting with the carts and loading them up.

Let's meet up at the sliding automatic doors by the food court (outside on the west side of the mall) for 5:45PM and head in by 6:00PM. If you're going to be late, please text me at 780-934-4586. Your help will be greatly appreciated. To find me, I'll be wearing a royal blue golf shirt with yellow writing in the front "Edmonton Outdoor Club".
