Itinerary:

Meeting Location

Directions:
- Whitemud Drive to 170 ST South
- turn left onto Wolf Willow Road,
- turn right onto Wanyandi Road
- look for a small blue sign labelled Fort Edmonton Foot Bridge on Wanyandi Road at its intersection with Wanyandi Way
- turn left onto Wanyandi Way.
- Follow Wanyandi Way a short distance along, and you will see permitted/signed curbside parking for Fort Edmonton Footbridge on the right (south) side of Wanyandi Way, west of its intersection with Wize Court.
- Park on the south side as described above, and we will meet by the Wize Court intersection.

The hike will be moderate in intensity and will include paved and unpaved areas. Length of hike will be approx. 7-10km and should take us 1.5-2 hours to complete.

We will travel along the residential trails and do some new single track trail exploring along the ravines in Westridge. Eventually we will end up in Patricia Ravine where the trail widens. We will either travel along the river on a single track trail omitting the large staircase or work our way up and then down the 200 step staircase. From there it's back to the parking lot.

*** The single track terrain has frequent changes in elevation and there will be some steeper areas where poles and or grips will come in handy***

***Part of the hike is off leash designated. I am open to having dogs on the hike, however they must be leashed when necessary***
