The Global Visions
Film Festival starts this week in Edmonton.
We will see Jerry Rothwell's film How to Change the World, about the origins of Greenpeace.
Long before it evolved into a global activist network, Greenpeace
was a small group Vancouver neighbours, united in their
opposition of nuclear testing. HOW TO CHANGE THE WORLD
uses archival footage and interviews to tell the incredible story of
the pioneers behind Greenpeace who went on to define the
modern environmental movement. The show starts at 7:00pm but let's meet up at 6:30pm at
the museum to get tickets.
