The Downtown Business Association is running free activities in Churchill Square to celebrate the beginning of the holiday season. Enjoy an afternoon of free family activities, delicious treats from local food trucks, and live entertainment to celebrate the holidays in Downtown Edmonton. Join Santa and his helpers in a countdown at 6:30 pm to light up the massive Christmas tree and launch a spectacular fireworks display.

Please meet me at 5 PM inside the Second Cup located on the south end of Churchill Square at the corner of 99 street and 102 avenue. The festivities are scheduled to run until 7 PM. Afterwards, those interested can join me at a local pub or cafe, where we will go to warm up.

If taking public transit, take the LRT to the Churchill Square station. Parking is available at the City Hall Parkade, Edmonton Public Library Parkade, Scotia Place Parkade ($2.50/hr on Saturday) or on the street ($1/hr on Saturday)
