Itinerary: | |||||||
PLEASE NOTE THAT I HAVE HAD TO MOVE THE START TIME BACK BY 30 MINS, TO 6:45PM.
Let's start the weekend with a not-too-long-and-gruelling
evening walk! We will meet at 6:45pm for a 6:55 departure.
Meet at the small parking lot at the NW end of Groat Bridge -
see the directions below. Note that I would like to maintain a fairly brisk pace on this walk (up to approx 5km/h), although we will have a few short breaks along the way.
We will then walk west along the MacKinnon Ravine trail, as far
west as it goes (just short of 149 Street).
Difficulty - this isn't too tough a walk, although MacKenzie
Ravine in a westerly direction is a steady but moderate climb -
remember we are walking at a brisk pace though! Dogs are very welcome on this hike, please remember to include them on the registration! :-)
