My philosophy for conditioning is a combination of endurance, weight in backpacks and hills. We will begin with endurance training and weight in our backpacks. If you have not been too busy over the winter I would suggest a day pack with light weight and then if you have been busy push yourself and increase your weight. We will meet in Hazeldean at the new covered shelter along 68th Ave and 93rd St and hike in the Millcreek Ravine toward the Muttart, we will take a short break at the Muttart and return to our starting point. This event will be the first of many conditioning hikes I will post leading to a backpacking/camping event in Kananaskis country. | |||||||
