Itinerary:

We will meet in the parking lot at Emily Murphy Park at 10:30 AM, near the Groat Road bridge. for registration and leave at 10:45 AM. for the ski. We will ski 1.5km over gentle, flat terrain into Hawrelak Park. When we arrive in Hawrelak we will ski the 2.6km flat perimeter loop around the park and return to our vehicles via the 1.5km link for a total of 5.6km. These are great trails for beginners.

If you don't have skis, you can rent ski packages at Mountain Equipment Co-op or Totem Outfitters.

Event Directions:

To get to Emily Murphy Park take Whitemud to Gateway Blvd NW/ Calgary Trail NW north
Take a left on 82 Ave/ Whyte Ave
Turn right on 110 St NW
Take a left on Saskatchewan Drive NW
Keep to the right and take Emily Murphy Park Rd NW
Turn right into Emily Murphy Park
Once in the park turn left at the T intersection and meet in parking lot near the Groat Road Bridge.
Christine will be in a black Mazda 3 hatchback
