Itinerary:

What is a Half-And-Half? A half-and-half is a hike in which we park in the middle of the route and do an out-and- back one way, then an out-and-back the other way. Attendees can do just the first half if they wish, or they can stay for the whole thing (both halves). The first "half" will be slower paced and easier, and the second "half" will be a little faster and more steady for those who want a little more of a workout.

Meet at 6:15 to depart promptly at 6:30.

First Half: Departing Snow Valley heading north, we will walk through Rainbow Valley Park and Whitemud Ravine.

Second Half: Depart again heading south south along the creek for about a half hour and then turn around and return to Snow Valley.

This will be a slower-paced walk - beginners, slowpokes, backpack conditioners, and photographers welcome!

Dogs must be kept on leash at all times

In the case of crummy weather on the Tuesday, and better weather on the Thursday, this event will be changed to the Thursday evening of the same week.

Meet at Snow Valley Ski Club near the entrance to the Rainbow Valley Campground, on the NE end of the parking lot. See Snow Valley Map and Directions for more information, including transit information. To find Brent and Rhonda, first find Nemo. We will be milling about nearby with our yellow EOC ball caps on.
