This event is only open to those EOC members who have already been confirmed as volunteers for the Heritage Festival.

Servus Heritage Festival 2012 marks the 37th year of this annual three-day showcase of Canada’s vibrant multicultural heritage.

The Festival will feature 63 pavilions representing more than 85 cultures from all over the world.

Driver duties (volunteers must have a clean driving record and a valid driver's license)
. Keep food ticket booths stocked with tickets
. Transport personnel
. Other on site deliveries as required
. Pick up/drop off Food Ticket Sellers when they are carrying tickets/cash

There is no public parking in Hawrelak Park during the Festival. However, Festival volunteers can use Edmonton Transit at no charge to travel to and from their shifts (details will be provided to volunteers about this benefit.) Volunteers will receive a t-shirt, a hat, meals, and non-alcoholic beverages. If you volunteer for 10 hours, you also receive a ballot for a scholarship (as long as you are enrolled in post-secondary school on or before December 31, 2012).

The Edmonton Heritage Festival counts on volunteers to help ensure the success of the event. If you aren't able to commit to the volunteer shifts, please do not sign-up since it will be very difficult to find suitable replacements at the last minute.

Further details will be provided at the Volunteer BBQ/Orientation on August 2nd and by the EOC coordinator in advance of your shift.
