Itinerary:
As they say in Ireland: "Top of the morning to you!" Come on a St Patrick's Day hike, that goes nowhere near Ireland.......

Meet at 9:00am for a 9:15 departure, in the parking lot at the Muttart Conservatory, and I will be wearing a rather snazzy yellow EOC cap so you can recognise me.

We will cross the footbridge over 98 Avenue, and head up the trail through Cloverdale into Forest Heights Park.
Continue NE along the trail to Rowland Road, then down the hill towards Dawson Bridge.
Before reaching Dawson Bridge, we will leave Rowland Road and do a clockwise "loop" of the trails around Riverside Golf Course
Return via the same route to the meeting place.

There is a steady hill up from Cloverdale to Forest Heights Park, as well as one or two steep-ish hills on the south side of Riverside Golf Course.

It is difficult to predict exactly how the trail conditions will be at this time of year, so assume they might be slippery and/or slushy. Good footwear is essential, and ice grips / traction devices are recommended.

This is a "dog friendly" hike - ie. dogs are permitted on this one.
Dog owners - if you are bringing your dog(s), when you are registering, please include them, so that they also appear on the publicly-viewable list of attendees.
