We will meet in the parking lot at the entrance to the City Zoo parking lot and Sir Wilfred Laurier Park, this is past. the east end of the zoo parking, at 6:05 p.m. for registration and leave at 6:15 p.m. for the hike. We will be hiking south along the river and then up into Laurier Hights and across into Quesnell and Rio Terrace. Then we will cross the river on the Fort Edmonton foot bridge and walk back along the river and come back across the Quesnell bridge. The hike will be about two hours with a moderate pace. The trails can be slippery when wet. Good footwear is essential. It is now getting dark out before we complete our hike you may want to bribg a headlamp or flashlight. | |||||||
