SUMMARY Friday: We leave Edmonton Friday evening and spend the night at The Shunda Creek Hostel. You can check in after 4PM Saturday: Leaving early in the morning and hiking up to the Coliseum Lookout. Afterwards we will go back to the hostel for dinner. Sunday: Going for an amazing hike to the Siffleur Falls in the morning. After the hike we will head back to Edmonton, maybe tired, but satisfied with good stories to tell. NOTE: (please read the entire posting prior to registering)
ITINERARY: Friday - We will leave Edmonton in the afternoon Friday, July
15th, 2011,
and head to Nordegg. We will be staying at The Shunda Creek Hostel
for two nights. I love the Shunda Creek hostel for its fantastic atmosphere, great view of the mountains, hot-tub, bbq, and its welcoming
fire pit for our evening tea time. Saturday - We will leave the hostel early in the morning and head to Coliseum mountain trail.
Coliseum Mountain provides a magnificent 360 degree panorama that accompanies you the entire length of its spine
along the top of the "coliseum." Do not forget to bring your cameras along, or you will be kicking
yourself on the way back! Sunday - Sunday morning we will check out and leave the hostel early and head
to Siffleur Falls. Siffleur Falls is a nice short hike in David Thompson Country. The trail goes
along the river for seven kilometers, and privides amazing view of three magnificent waterfalls. We will
have a quick lunch at the third fall and will head back to our vehicles. PAYMENT NOTES & INSTRUCTIONS: The event cost is $53.85. You can pay me directly through paypal (send to saeedfd at yahoo dot com), or Interac email money transfer, in which case you don't to pay the $1.86 Paypal cost. If you have any questions, please email/text/call me (text preferred). | |||||||
