Itinerary:

We will meet at 9:30AM at the parking lot at Dawson Park and will leave at 9:45AM SHARP for the hike.

We will then head East trough Dawson bride and continue north. After reaching Capilano Park, we will loop back and head West through River Valley Highlands Park and go to Dawson Park. After the event, we can go for lunch if you want. I know a very good place downtown for great Vietnamese food.

Just to let you know that there are a few hills on this walk and will be walking on snowy/icy trail for most of the hike.

The are some slippery sections on the trail and you will need crampons/microspikes/yaktrax.

Also, you could encounter windy, rainy, snowy conditions, etc. – dress accordingly (no cotton). Be sure to bring water to keep hydrated and bring windproof jacket if needed.

You can also bring your dog if you like, but it should be on-leash.

If you don't know me already, I will be wearing a pair of black snow pants and an orange jacket (and definitely no yellow hat). I also drive a dark maroon Chrysler Sebring.

Take Rowland Road to 89th Street, turn north & continue as far as you can to parking lot.
You could also take the #1 bus (click here for the schedule) and go to Rowaland Road / 89 Street.
