Time for round 2. Goldbar park offers some flat area's for new skiers aswell as some nice hills for the more advanced people in the sport. We will be sticking to the easier trails so those who are experienced must be patient and stay with the group. Please have your skis waxed prior to arriving at the park.
This event is weather dependant, if it turns cold (-20 C) or colder the event will be shorter in duration or cancelled.
We will meet at 6:00pm for introductions/preparations and then depart at 6:15pm.
We will have an experienced skier to show us proper techniques and provide usefull hints.
Afterwards, we can go for Irish coffee or other refreshments :)

How to Get There:

Event Directions:

Goldbar Park is located on the southside of the river. Take 50th street and turn east after passing 109a ave. Follow Goldbar Park RD. to parking lot, we will meet in the shelter just east of the parking lot. I will be in a burgandy Dodge truck, but we will meet in the shelter.

Notes:

There are several places who rent skis in Edmonton, MEC and Totem Outfitters aswell as other places. I will leave it up to you to find the best suitable deals.
