One of Canada’s marquee ice sculpture festivals, part of the Winter Lights Festival, Ice on Whyte is an 11-day adventure in ice sculpture, building, and play. Local and international ice carvers will create a gallery of temporary art, while the festival hosts a warm-up tent with coffee, hot chocolate, and entertainment. We will meet at 4:00 Pm, at Block 1912 Cafe on Whyte Ave, east of 104 st, and tour around the ice sculptures and whatever other entertainment and fun there is set up. Afterwards, we can go for a warm hot chocolate or other warm beverage and eats at a local eatery. | |||||||
