This trip is suitable for beginners/intermediates.

We've got an exciting x-country ski weekend in Jasper lined up.

We'll leave early Saturday morning, arriving in Jasper around lunch just in time to ski the Summit Lakes trail (10km return, easy, 80m elevation gain).
Afterwards, we'll get settled in at the Maligne Canyon hostel and enjoy our potluck dinner. The evening will be free-time, with games, relaxation,
perhaps a late-night hike into the Canyon.
In the morning, we'll drive to Hwy 93A and ski the popular Moab Lake trail (18km return, easy, 110m elevation gain).
We'll then combat our post-exercise chills by replacing cold, sweat-soaked garments with bathing suits and enjoying a hot, relaxing soak
at the Jasper Aquatic Centre ($6 p.p.).
We'll then grab a bite to eat in Jasper or Hinton, re-join the world and head home. Please don't be in a hurry to come home on Sunday.
We should be back by 9p.m. or so.
