Write Up:
We got detoured by the proscribed burning in the White Goat Region. Although the hike trail was out of the Burn area, the trail was closed. We detoured to Allstones lake and had a fabulous hike. The weather was great on the way up and couple of brave souls braved the water for a swim. A few other campers and a few fisher-persons and some interesting stories. The rain over night stopped long enough for breakfast and most of the tear down. The group decdied not to summit that morning and we took a very leisurely return down the mountain.
