Winter camping with one winter element missing, the cold. It was quite mild at -5 degrees celsius during the night. Plenty of snow though! Great introduction to winter camping. The group had a chance to experience a set up in the dark. The camp fire roared and the clear dark sky opened up to a collection of beautiful stars. The next morning, the group met up with another EOC group and covered 9.5 kms in 2.5 hours around the backcountry trails in Miquelon Lake Provincial Park.
