Write Up:
Ten of us met at the wrong part of the parking lot and then met up with the eleventh as soon as we started walking. We walked west from the Kinsmen center along various trails through the river valley. As was expected, we quickly met with ice and hills. This slowed us down, but didn't stop anyone. The Trail then led into Emily Murphy Park where we decided to cross the Groat Road Bridge. On the north end we walked east along the paved river valley trails, hiked up the hill and took the High Level bridge back to the Kinsmen Center parking lot. Even though it was only a few KM, the conditions made it a fairly intense hike.
