Thanks to everyone who came out to the first downhill ski event of the season. Kudos to Hemang Shah who had never snowboarded before and from what I saw and heard he is a natural. We started as a group on the bunny hill for a warm up and then most of us quickly headed to the perfect conditions on the steep incline down the river valley. Nice mix of man made and recent natural snow. Next week the new chair lift may be open for the first time depending on conditions. Praying for lots of snow this season.
