The weekend was fantastic. The weather cooperated as well as weather can. We had only a morning of rain on Sunday and it cleared up after that. No Mosquitoes, no bears, no ticks or bees and best of all NO injuries, other than a few nasty blisters. None of those were mine and I let them self medicate and self administer 1st aid. We started on time (within a half hour) and finished on time (within a half hour) no personality conflicts and no complaints. I'm pretty happy with how it all turned out. The terrain out there is tougher than I remember and we had a few tense moments climbing some of the walls in the creek beds that feed Siffleur river but everyone waltzed through it like it was expected. I was very impressed with everyone's attitudes and aptitudes. It was a lot of fun even if we did cut the Sunday hike short to 2 hours and we needed only to go another 600m upstream to investigate the anomaly on the topo map.
